IT Academy is offering subsidised training

The first course "IT Essentials for Business" on 7th 8th June 2005 £100

This course will teach the fundamentals of wireless networking, learn about sharing data across a network, create an IT data backup and restoration policy and plan for future IT developments. It is aimed at anyone wishing to improve their IT skills. Delegates will have the opportunity for some further consultation with the tutor at their place of work to identify how some of the skills learnt can be put into pratise in the workplace.

 


 
the second course is the "Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician" (MCDST) 13, 14, 15, 20, 21 June 2005 £500 (rrp £1100)

This 5 day course is intended for new entrants and career changers new to the IT industry with experience using Microsoft Office and who have basic Microsoft Windows navigation skills. The Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) credential proves that you have the skills to successfully support end users and to successfully troubleshoot desktop environments running on the Microsoft Windows operating system.
