Science City York Courses
In September 2003 Science City York and the Learning & Skills Council North Yorkshire commissioned a report entitled
‘Skills and Workforce Development Mapping Study in Knowledge Based Industries in York’
The report identified skills that needed to be developed in the city’s workforce in order to allow knowledge-based industries in York to flourish.
These new skills would also allow York residents to fully benefit from the science and technology industries growing locally.
Science City York and partner organisations have planned a number of initiatives to meet these needs.
- Women into Science and Technology Management
- Science Bite Size Tasters
