York Art Gallery would like to invite you to the launch of a newly commissioned work by artist Torsten Lauschmann. This new work, a projection piece, has been supported by the Contemporary Art Society as part of their centenary celebrations during 2010 and will remain on display at the gallery until Monday 3 May 2010Mouths and Triangles
The first show from this new contemporary art gallery will feature an expressive series of drawings by artist Sally Taylor, who is already acknowledged for her contribution to contemporary drawing practice with work selected for the highly acclaimed Jerwood Drawing Prize This exciting new gallery will bring an edgy programme of solo shows featuring the sort of work and art that people will travel to the area to see and buy, concentrating on painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, digital, drawing and collage.Preventing Project Failure
One of a suite of heavily-subsidised training courses from York Management School; this one-day, interactive workshop comprises talks, case studies and group exercises to provide an excellent framework for effective project management.
