This workshop will highlight the main considerations when negotiating with an investor. How will your company be ranked? What return will an investor seek and how quickly? What are ratchets?
You will learn about investment and shareholder agreements, articles of association and service contracts, as well as the types of equity finance and the personal implications of an investment. This is your opportunity to learn from two people who do this for a living!
The Format
Our workshops are designed with an interactive element, to encourage discussion and ideas amongst delegates A buffet with wine will be served on arrival and the workshop itself will be followed by drinks, allowing plenty of time for networking. Should you wish, you can also attend the fifth workshop in the series ‘Capturing an Investor and Avoiding the Pitfalls’ which will immediately precede the buffet.
