As well as perfecting your executive summary and the key issues that need to be addressed in your business plan, this free workshop by Connect Yorkshire will impart how best to describe the market opportunity and routes to market, the skills of the management team and how optimistic your financial forecasts should be.

If you're a SME who has or is carrying out research and development and who has paid employees (including the founder), the second part of this workshop will help you understand how exactly to get money back from HM Revenue & Customs!

Expert speakers are Russell Turner, Director and Adrian Widdowson, Tax Director of Garbutt & Elliott.

Both give you the knowledge to hone your business plan, speak the language of investors and secure that deal.

The Format
The workshops are designed with an interactive element, to encourage discussion and ideas amongst delegates. Refreshments will be served on arrival.

All workshops are free to anyone wanting to learn about the investment process or who is keen to understand the financial options available to their business.
