Look at flower shapes from direct observation to produce studies in watercolour and watercolour pencils

Understand how and why a colour is best produced, helping you to mix colours quicker, with less waste and creative frustration!

Use chalk, charcoal and paint to produce large exciting drawings of this magnificent space

Charming hand-built clay tile will be made incorporating relief pattern
11:30 - 13:30 *Simple Clay Bottle
Simple clay modelling techniques will be used to make a hand-built bottle form, to which further personalised detail can be added
12:30 - 14:00 African Sculpture
Sculpt the way African traditional artists have for centuries in one easy session
14:30 - 16:00 Mask Making
A chance to do something really different! Explore the processes and aesthetics of African 3D Art.
*For a charge of £3.00 your work will be fired and glazed by the workshop tutor
Friday - Sunday
10:00 - 15:00 FREE WORKSHOP Explore imaging technology through a montage and green-screen workshops.
See yourself transported to other landscapes by video chroma-key technology and be introduced to digital manipulation to transport yourself into other times, places and famous images!
There is no need to book for these workshops, simply turn up on the day. (NB: there will be a charge of £1.00 for each picture you want to print)

If you have not received a reply by Friday 14 March, you will know that the session is going ahead. You will only be contacted if there are no places available.
Please note: All workshops will be charged £2.00 per person, except for the stained glass sessions, which will be £3.50 per person.
Due to the popularity of these taster sessions, the organisers regret they are only able to reserve one place per learner.
About Future Prospects Future Prospects provide part-time courses for adults in a variety of subjects, including visual and performing arts. Whilst they have some courses that have been running for years, they also try to introduce new courses each year to keep up with new trends and techniques. New arts courses introduced this year include:
